We targeted to wrap up our food hunting activities of the day with a coffee and sweet tooth things. So, here Sweet Spot @ Marina Bay Sand. The only coffee shop that we discovered within this hotel and within our budget.
The macaroon. Bingo!! worth the purchase. but still expensive. around SGD3 per piece
The coffee. we all had cappuccino. taste.. bad.. not sweet at all. a good coffee should blend well, coffee, hot milk, foam. But this one, was rather tasteless. we were paying for the cosy ambience not the good coffee.
They had muffins and cookies
Mirror Mirror on the wall
The cafe is located at the ground floor, near to the entrance of the MBS's deck.
Verdict: Not recommended unless they improve their coffee
Cant remember how many time i visited this place. Zam Zam Restaurant. My friend was hunger for Murtabak even after several minutes having the bone soup. so basically, our shopping spree has turned to Eating Spree.
2nd floor view
The chicken murtabak. small portion cost us SGD6.60
Crunchy and it tastes good. better indeed than my earlier trial
Another reason, why i plan this trip is to enjoy the Sup Tulang Merah @ Red Mutton/Bone Soup. Available exclusively at Golden Beach Food Court.
How to get here, take the MRT to Bugis station. take the resident area exit (not the main road exit), walk and pass through several apartment until you see several landmarks as shown in the pics below:
The famous Deen Tulang Specialist. I tried this one again with the hope that the taste is getting better but i was wrong. it tastes so-so. i should try my instinct to go for its competitor which serve better and tastier and sweeter soup.
Some pics taken during our annual trip to Singapore. This time, i feel that Singapore has lost some of its touch. i feel that, it's not longer loveable like before. less happening. so, we just strolling along the Orchard Road and taking pics.

I would give them 5 stars for such a brilliant architecture, road designed and city developed. It was well planned. Everything is stunning.

December 2013. Year end trip and i ended it with Singapore. And for this post, i accidently deleted my chaw keow teow picture that was extremely yummy looking.
My friend's meal. She opt for Thai style chicken @ SGD10.
You can never be wrong with any thai style food. well cooked and well shared by 3 girls. All of their meals are serve with a very2 generous portion. so, if you are half-hungry, perhaps sharing basis is the best option.
My favourite Yo Cha Kueh and Wanton at SGD9. never bored me. love the Yo Cha Kueh the most. it was soft, tender, chewy. partnered with the creamy white source or the black soy source. both are fine. best to enjoy it while it's hot.
Hot Plate Chicken Noodle @ SGD5.80. ordered by our fellow friend. not a bad choice. the mee seems pleasant. the gravy was thick and smooth. generous with chicken and vege.
This is the restaurant. It is operated by a chinese, not sure whether he is muslim or not. but the restaurant received halal certificate. it was firstly recommended by my cousin.
Verdict: Recommended. Sure sometimes we are bored with ayam penyek right. so, Puncak Muslim has something else to offer and it is close to our usual liking in Malaysia.
Restaurant: Puncak Muslim Food
Location: 5th Floor, Plaza Far East, Orchard Road
Tips: There are a few halal restaurant in this plaza besides puncak muslim.
I left Jurong East to Jurong East Interchange by bus and from there, i took MRT straight to Tanah Merah Station and had a transit for another MRT to Changi Airport. The last train took me to Terminal 3. Since, i need to get to Terminal 1, i had to get another transit via Skytrain from T3 to T1. A very quick ride.
A minutes later, i reached the public area of T1. i was so pleased to see the facilities in Terminal 1. Many shops available. A lot of seated for visitors and passengers. Halal restaurant is also available. And the most important thing nowadays is the internet access. Free wifi in almost every where in the airport. If i'm not mistaken, the Airport provided 550 wifi spots for passengers and visitors convenient. Awesome right. But, this is just a beginning. Wait until you enter the departure hall (after the immigration), you'll be crazy. It fulls with branded and well known outlets. And of course, no GST imposed for all the traveler. You just need to show your passport and boarding pass for verification. Everything is tax free from the amazing SKII product until the 70 cent postcard. All are free from tax.
I had about 3 hours left before my departure back to KL. So, my time was fully occupied by visiting all the gardens and shops (not all shops, it's too many, Changi Airport is like a mini Pavilion) in the Airport. Luckily, my aunt has prepared me some food, the best roti john in Singapore. I was starving when i reached airport. So, i just had a quick lunch and started my solo experience at the airport.
Can u believe it?!! there are so many things to do at the airport. It's so so so awesome and it much much better than our KLIA and Skypark, Subang. Subang airport has future because it still clean and less crowded. But, LCCT??? improve please. Changi Airport is so international so classy and cosy.

Kinetic Sculpture
At first, i thought it was a big structure. After searching for a while and nothing big was found, i realised that i need to change my view and perspective. Then, i took breath, and looking back at the map and looking back on the decoration (which i thought it was) above me. It is actually, a thousand man made raindrops hang above you. Look like a christmas decoration to me.The sculpture is made of 1,216 bronze rain doplets that transform elegantly into multi shapes. Feel free to watch the video from their official website below.

Thematic Outdoor Garden
This garden consists of Lili pads and Sculptural Tress at their deck. Oasis style. Smoking are allowed here. Since the weather is quite warm, i left the garden after taking some photos. And if you feel like having a 'drink' in a garden, there are a bar on the left deck.
