Birthday Treat @ Alexis, The Garden

First of all, thank you thank you so much for the birthday treat girls. feel like a lil bit younger every time my beday is being celebrated. Doesnt count the number,eh. =p

The location was chosen by my best buddies. Never been here before. This was the first time.

Review:
Personally, i can't find what is the X-factor of this place. When i entered this restaurant, i expected that this place is more than an average restaurant. It looks like a kopitiam with the neon lamp hangs, empty bottle on the rack, many mirrors, wooden table but with comfy cushion for seating.

The taste of their food as i comment in each picture below is at average. Nothing special except their famous berry meringue / pavlova. It's look pretty, presentable and absolutely fantastic. it is the big winner among the crowd.

Other than that, my beef lasagna just meet my requirement. since i am fan of lasagna, it is important to have the right meal.

Another reason why i chose beef lasagne was, i dont know what to order and what too eat. the choices seem limited to me, even i can't eat everything stated in the menu but still i want more choices. there are only 1 type of fish and chip, some pasta and sandwiches, appertiser and starter, some drinks.. that's all..

Luckily, the purpose of the event was to meet my girl friends, so food is at no 2. hanging out with old friend, catch up with each other life is more important. it is not every day, we meet them right.. and, plus point, we received a super good news from Ms Z.. Alhamdulillah,  i am so happy for you and pray for your happiness dear.. i am sure the rest are also feel the same..Congratulation once again.

Seafood Spaghetti full with prawn and squid

Ice Chocolate with Seafood Spaghetti - the portion is very generous, taste, the girl said not that tasty, but still everyone finish their meals.

Vanilla Shake

Hot & Spicy Chicken Wings - Very nice. One of the best. Not that spicy too me but ok la for those who prefer a bit taste of spicy

Chicken and Mushroom Soup with Fries

I expect a soup made with bread but it turns out to be a porcelain bowl covered with bread.. The soup is a lil bit light. 

Beef Lasagna - The most tastiest meal of the day after the dessert.. The cook is just nice. Not that salty not that spicy. Just nice. It was served with garlic bread.

My Fav - Ice Cappuccino with Vanila Ice Cream

Anything to do with coffee and cappuccino is fine with me

The Lamb Rank Morocco Style

I expect the lamb rank is like the lamb shank -- bigger, full with gravy.. this one is quiet dry

Oglio Spaghetti - Quiet generous with prawn. But, boy Z doesnt like it. So, his mama got to finish it

Plus - it tasteless.. like no salt at all

Berry Meringue or Pavlova - We love it. One is never enough.. Serious...

Berries in every layer. Thick and creamy meringue

Tips to enjoy your meringuu or pavlove - eat it immediately as it texture will become harder when exposed to air

Heaven on the table: I love this one. The bread is soft and sweet. Creamy ice cream and warm milk. Perfecto!!
