Sushi Tei @ Pavilion, KL
Lunch with Ms SH.
This was a 3rd time i had a lunch with Ms SH at Sushi Tei. It's like our routine lunch place when we visited Pavilion.
I love Sushi Tei because of the cleanliness and the freshness. The sashimi was prepared fresh and it doesnt cause me allergic. That's why i keep coming back to this place.
However, the food is still quite pricey.
Ten Don @ RM13.90
Sashimi @ RM10.50
Osyter @ RM8.80
Hot Ocha for 2 pax

Ambience was quite cosy and clean
Italian Fast Food at Capricciosa @ Subang Parade
Express Lunch with Mrs I at Subang Parade. The restaurant is located at the Market Place aka food court.
Having a promotion of their spaghetti. But 1 free 1.
We opted for this.
Spaghetti with tomato source with garlic and peppers and Spaghetti with Carbonara. Both for RM19.90
For drink: Cappuccino RM6.90 & Ice Cafe Latte for RM8.90
Cappuccino |
They are generous with the food portion. I can't finish mine. It's too much. Plus, i want mince beef or chicken in my source as usually had at home. But of coz, it doesnt taste italian anymore la..
Since this is a fast food chain, i am not sure is this the real taste of italian spaghetti. i tried pizza when i went to Venice last time. It tastes different. Lighter and fresher.
The interior of the restaurant, the other side with thai signage is the food court |
Anyway, this was not a bad lunch.

Asian Water Sport Village @ Puchong
A new water sport "theme park" in selangor.
I was not happy with the place. It was not really a park. It just a portion of the lake "PUCHONG Lake" which shared with the construction area as u can see below and some part of the lake has been occupied by the residence areas.
Water was not clean. Weather is extremely hot. Most of the games are extreme style games. except fishing and kayaking. Since, i was already day, i just "enjoy" myself with the kayaking activities.

Puchong Perdana

Teh Tarik Place @ Empire Subang Gallery
Lunch at Teh Tarik Place, Empire Subang
ambience = they want to decorate it like a kampung style but they missed some improtant item. it doesnt look like kampung at all. they need to improve on this
cleanliness = yes but they took time to clean our table. so negative point on that.

Madam I had a nasi ayam goreng and warm water
Menu: Mee Goreng Mamak ( a new version of mamak, spicier and nicer), if you are looking for something different but still call a mamak.,
and hot lime
price = less than rm10 for me
Ole-Ole Bali @ Empire Subang Gallery
I have not try another indonesian meal ever since i taste their food at bora ombak (8 years ago) and other than my all time favorite the ayam penyek. this one was a good starter to me.
i had nasi campur as recommended by others. my objective of having a meal this year is to try something different and special from their menu. plus a lime barley ice drink. which i recommended this one. the way they serving it was also different from normal stall or mamak cafe. they blended the barley, so you dont have to use a spoon to get the barley out of your glass.
the portion of nasi campur is very generous. they had a satay (taste like otak2), a chicken, fish, squid, prawn, sambal terasi (green chilies and red one at different plate), keropok (fish crackers), a bowl of rice, some small portion of kerabu. i finished all except the prawn.
Others had a lamb chicken combo.. look delicious to me and it was not serve with black pepper gravy like usual meal we had. i believed the gravy served was a baliness version. another sets on the table were a ayam betutu (served with yellow rice, roasted chicken and many2 dishes)
we had a rojak for appertiser.
price wise, nasi campur = rm35
ayam betutu = rm28
lamb chicken combo =
lime barley = rm6
ambience = traditional balinese style with woody deco. provide 2 types of dining experience. eating your meal on table or sitting on the wooden floor covered with cushion which to us are really not comfortable 5 minutes experience. we had ours on table and non aircond area since the air conditioned one are fuly seated.
cleanliness = yes
