Hotel Review: Leverage Business Hotel, Alor Setar

Over this long weekend, some of our friend are celebrating the wesak day, we went to Alor Setar to attend our best friend wedding. The journey started, should start at 4am from KL and 445 am from rawang. turn out, it was delayed to 510am from rawang due to me who got into sleeping death..argh.. poor Miss A, who waited for me for almost an hour..

We continue our journey.. luckly, we didnt face any bad traffic along the way. every thing went smooth..

Stop for subuh prayer at Petronas, Tapah. Its 640 am and the place already crowded with people.

Hotel: Leverage Business Hotel
Location: Jalan Kuala Kedah, Alor Star (above Old Town White Coffee Outlet)
Room: Suite Room
Bed: 1 Single and 1 King Size (really big)

Why we chose this hotel:
It was recommended by Madam Z.
Very near to Madam Z's house. less than 5 min drive. And also near to Masjid Aman.
Price: Reasonable. The room is super big and it only cost about rm110. but we got it for free. compliment from Madam Z. thank you dear. muah muah

Plus point:
Big size bed. even single bed is big, perhaps super single
Very very spacious room. about 33 m2. no need to worry for prayer area. u still can do push up in front of the bathroom area.

The beds are so comfy, plenty of pillows, they are fluffy and hug gable too.. at the end, i only use one pillow. i dont need two as long as it thick enough for my head to land to.. quilt was thick and warm too.. very important since the air cond is damn cold..

Basically, the room is quite clean except the bathroom, wet and not really clean.. and also, got some graffic designed left on the wall. i believe from a little kids who love drawing so much..

LCD TV, kitchenet is provided - coffee, tea, mineral water and electrical kettle.. dvd player. laundry bags, towels

Got hair dryer also but no mini toiletries like tooth brush set, soap given. only liquid soap and shower cap (only one)

sexy shower with window. have to close the curtain before you undressed yourself ah... shower is very unique. rain drops from the ceiling.

Previously know as Zen Hotel

Air Cond, but no remote to control the fan. so my roomie was quite freezing there

the room

the lobby .. very dull and lack of interior and furnitures. a few sofa and chairs.

Service:
1- Reception was not friendly that day. even we booked a lot of rooms, they make that face.. not happy when we asked for early check in as agreed earlier with Madam Z. bad service for this ok..
2- During the night, when we asked for extra mineral water, a different staff on shift that night, gave it for free.. no sour face detected.. ok.. good boy
3- So, next time, if you already promise to allow us for early check in, please keep ur promise and dont make face.

Plenty of boutique nearby. salon, pedicure salon, bar and restaurant, old town white coffee, grocery shop etc.

We had a good time and a very friendly service from one of the Hair Salon. Based on his recommendation, we went for a food testing that night.
