Air Asia Breakfast: Nasir Lemak Pak Nasser & Nasi Bukhara Ayam Briyani

Always anticipated breakkie in Air Asia flight with Pak Nasser Nasir Lemak. This is the only thing that would keep me sane through out the journey. i had it for both my flight, to bangkok and from phnom penh.

The meals were served hot, seems like it just being cooked in the oven. have to wait for several minutes before i can start chew it.

We pre-ordered the meals before the flight. so, the meal comes with 100ml cutie cup of mineral water. i think last time that serve bottle. em.. getting more profit and mr tony is getting cheapskate. but still the price is cheaper than if you order on the flight. if i am not mistaken, rm15 for the nasi lemak only.

so, here we goes, some pics of the nasi lemak for me and nasi bukhara briyani chicken for Ms N

The rendang ayam is simply delicious.

Hotel Review: Tune Hotel, LCCT

My first visit and stay at Tune Hotel, LCCT. What brings me and my buddy here? Early morning flight. That's it. If not because of that, we wont be staying in this small and crampy little room.

Does it looks big in the picture? Dont be fool. Camera trick babe.

About the room.
The room size is just about 96 s.m.
Once i step into the room, it straightly bring me to the bed. very narrow aisle. just good enough to put the backpack. big luggage? ops.
Prayer? whether you perform it on the bed or in the prayer room on the Ground Floor.

We opt for Comfy package which came with 24hrs air cond, hair dryer, 2 towels and toiletries.

The bed as it advertised is really comfortable one. with a comfy and huggable pillow.

They put big mirror on the wall as illussion. so we feel like standing in a super big room.

it just a one night stay after all, so just sleep and chill la.. with no tv

Along the corridor

My white carrot stay here for 5 nights and it cost me RM128. RM25 per day and RM3/hour
safe and sound

Some of the facilities

Sample bed. so small

The reception area

Pool room

Convenient store is also available. together with tour company and halal restaurant.

A lot of mat salleh is lepaking here and drinking at sitting area

They have allocated 2 rooms for disabled people

Bag for towel and toiletries

Overall, my stay here was average. we didnt sleep more than 3 hours. since both are busy catch up for many2 things, we end up talking until 1-2am. sleep a little bit and already wake up at 4am.
The room is just meant for a short stay anyway. So, we just packed and leave the room at around 445am.

Pricewise, to me it is expensive. total with tax is RM188. for that super small room without proper amenities. we can have complete standard / deluxe hotel room in town for the same price. but of coz, it far from LCCT la. so, air asia takes an advantage on this.

Location: it located closely to the airport, but we still took charter van cost rm1 or rm2 per person to the airport.

Staff: Good and helpful

Cleanliness: Yes.

Other amenities: Surau, laundry, games room, wifi (not free), PCs with internet (not free), convenient store, parking area with guard.

That's all for now.

Piccolo Latte

Not a bad coffee. but next time, i will go for a big size and other coffee. this small not enough ma..

Iftar @ Ole-Ole Bali, Empire Part 2

Hi there, this is my second visit to Ole-Ole Bali Empire. This time with my bff Ms N and Ms S. If i'm not mistaken we were having our late break fast in Subang after both of them spent sometime shopping in town while i am working at the office. we met at Empire and decided to have our breaking fast here.

It was the first for Ms N, so Ms N has decided to dine the same set of meal i had before. while me and Ms S were struggling choosing a new set of meals. seems, the first visit is always the best.

scrolling down are some pics taken on that day.

Recipe: Cottage Pie

My first trial of baking a cottage pie. why cottage and why not Sheppard?  Sheppard is a version of lamb as the ingredient. Cottage is a version of a beef. Since, getting a minced lamb is not easy. I just used beef.

The main ingredient is as below:

For the layer/outer:
Boiled a kilo of potato, toast it and mash it with butter, pepper, salt, and milk (not the whole bottle)

For filling:
Fry the onion, curry leave, minced beef on hot pans
Use butter and olive oil instead of the normal cooking oil
Add prego, add salt, add pepper, oregano and tomato
Cooked well

Heat the oven upside down, 180 degrees for 15 minutes and cooked for less than 30 minutes

Put butter around the surface of the aluminium bowl

Put a layer of mash potato

Fill with the gravy

Top with the mash potato again

add celery leave on the potato

Finish with cheese (any cheese)

Cooked in the oven for less than 30 minutes (mine was 30 minutes) considered overcooked

One is never enough, i told ya..

Hope you guys love it
