Bangkok: Part 3 - City Tour

Our first tuk tuk ride in Bangkok.. yippiee..

Not a bad ride but became our first lesson being cheated here.. should negotiate the fare before take the ride.. we learnt from this and moving forward, we negotiated to the lowest fare we can get

Some pics around the city. btw, we stayed at Chinatown area, so most of the shops selling chinese items

The Grand Palace
Didnt get into the palace area, place was about to close its gate

Just stroll around the palace

Snap some pics

Visitors Information - Open from 8.30 am until 3.30pm, everyday

Silpakorn University opposite the Palace. Along the street, you can find hawkers selling souvenir (cheap one, better than chatuchak) and coconut ice cream.. cheap and super nice

We continued on foot touring the city near the river area.. The first temple after the Grand Palace is the Wat Apo.. Same as the previous Palace,we just passed by the temple and continue walking to the river bank..

If we were here a lil bit late, sure we will enjoy the beautiful sunset along the chao phraya river..
but since we were really2 hungry, we opted to leave this hot spot earlier to MBK Mall, again by tuk tuk

Across the river is Wat Arun, the most pictured wat along this river.

Miss the sunset and cruise moment this time but sure when we back to Bangkok, will hop on the cruise.

  3. You can be sure of getting the best value for your money at these airports. There are also buses which provide pick and drop for specific places also checkout https://www.tripindicator.com/best-airport-transfers-london-city.html. The other very good thing about the London airport transportation is that they provide special transport facilities for the people who are physically disabled.

  4. The Baltic might not be the first place that comes to mind when considering a luxury yacht charter vacation, but during the short Scandinavian summer, it's a magical place with warm breezes and almost 24 hours of daylight, also check kayaking & Snorkeling stockholm. The best time to visit is June to September, and like everywhere else in Europe, July and August are the most crowded. For a totally Swedish experience, visit during Midsummer (usually around June 20th), the longest day of the year (even as far south as Stockholm, summer nights never get completely dark, the sky just takes on a deep blue tint for a few hours before the sun comes back up again) and one of the most celebrated holidays in Sweden.
