How to get to Toledo, Spain from Madrid City?

"As old Spanish saying, until you have seen Toledo, you have not seen Spain"

Pada mulenye, kami dah give up utk teruskan perjalanan ke Toledo dari Madrid. Hujan, beg berat yang perlu diusung ketika mencari hostel, menyebabkan kami almost give up. Tapi lepas dapat kopi aka my best friend, terus masing2 segar bugar dan semangat nak ke Toledo.

Perjalanan dari Madrid mengambil masa 80 minit. 30 minit dengan metro (plaza espana ke plaza eliptica dan 50 min dengan bas ALSA (plaza eliptica to bus station Toledo. pastu amik bus feeder Euro 1.50 je direct ke plaza zocodover. pejam celik pejam celik, dah sampai.

Ktorg dpt return ticket Euro 9.70. Perjalanan ambil masa dlm 45 min per way. frequency trip lebih 80 kali sehari, so dont worry. byk sgt bus.

Ni la mesin tu. xde kaunter. beli terus dari mesin. dah sampai, turun kat main bus stop (which is at the modern city). xde gambar kat sini. sebab lepas sampai, bus stop toledo, ktrog terus lompat naik bus stop utk ke ancient/old city (gambar bas biru bawah tu, ialah bus stop kat old city).

ni ktorg dah seberang jalan. ktorg ke seberang utk amik gambar the modern city from the old city.

Btw, untuk pengetahuan, Toledo ni telah diiktiraf as UNESCO World Heritage Site and memang amazing sangat. Madrid is so lucky to have Toledo near its region. Sebab bandar Madrid ni boring. it is just a city and quite boring compared to Lisbon, Granada which is full with historical sites.

When we just step our foot there, we are totally speechless. Subhanallah. waktu tu, kalau diberi seluruh kota Madrid, saya sanggup lepaskan Madrid untuk sebuah kota agung seperti Toledo.

Since we only have less than half day, we just touch and go a few sites and only settle down at certain key sites to chillex, take picture, pray and chit chat.

Ktorg start dari sport No. 4. kire bahagian atas ni, yg ade taman and nampak view bawah, dekat Capilla De San Jose

Kedai souvenir byk kat bawah and on the way up. waktu turun ktorg ikut jalan lain, x byk kedai and kedai pun tutup awal before 6pm. so better grab souvenir awal2.

Catedral Primada

Ktorg tak masuk, amik gamabr dari luar. it was a mosque. here in Toledo, church was built on a mosque, which the mosque earlier was built on a church back in 6th century.

lagi satu, souvenir kat Toledo mmg murah giler and cantik2 belaka. jadi, kalo nampak terus beli, sebab once you dah tawaf kota ni, you takkan jumpe lagi kedai tu. hehe..

Kat spain and portugal, penutup laluan air / najis ni mmg menarik. but of coz not flowery as the one in Japan.

San Jose Castle.

Macam fairy tale kan. dlm movie zaman Arthur, Greek, Rome, misti ade corak2 mcm ni. kalo perasan, ala2 Harry Potter gitu. very nice. masih terjage lagi. kat tgh2 istana ni ade taman. so the garden look spectacular in the middle of brownish ancient castle.

For photographer, this is like have to test your skill. waktu ni, i just bought a new camera Olympus M-10 kot. mmg mirrorless camera for beginner tapi yg ni top punye. ramai org comment lawa. so i decided to buy this camera. Alhamdulillah, hasil nye cantik la utk newbie

Tangga ni utk naik atas.

Decoration kat bumbung pun cantik, tapi saya suke yg kat bawah ni. sebab die macam tiru islamik pattern sket. cume die edit sket2. tapi nampakla mcm corak yg byk bintang tu.

Ni pun i suke. same kan. mcm corak bintang lapan.

Tu je, gambar dalam San Jose Castle. lepas tu ktorg sambung jalan2 sampai la ktorg smpi ke area masjid. takde peta, tapi ktorg amik gambar peta yg dipaparkan pade dinding dan sepanjang jalan.

Ni perjalanan sekitar Toledo ancient city, otw ke masjid lama yang sudah tidak lagi digunakan. Bawah ni ade sket video.

Entrance nak masuk masjid ni Euro 2.50. tak boleh solat disini. hanya tempat untuk dikagumi dan berehat or curi2 solat kat sini. tp takde toilet.

Masjid ni terletak di lereng bukit. jadi boleh nampak great view dari kawasan masjid

Lepas tu ktorgn pun jalan turun ke bawah. nampak ade train kat sini. Nampak tak Plaza Zocodover kat signage tram tu. itula main plaza kalo turun dari bas from Madrid City.

Gambar kat bawah ni ktorg dah sampai bawah. tak perasan pun. rupe2 nye ktorg mmg dah pusing abis satu bukit ni.

On the way nak pegi Plaza Zocodover utk kejar bas balik Madrid, ktorg akan lalu Hospital Tavera. X pasti ade orang ke atau hanya bangunan lama.

Last, bile dah sampai roundbout, dpt lah satu gambar of the ancient toledo city dari main city. otw turun, ktorg jalan kaki, xnaik bas, sebab dah terlepas bus stop. and ktorg decide to pray Jamak Zuhur dan Asar di taman-taman sepanjang turun tadi. ade bilik air utk angkat wuduk. xde org pun.

Tak menyesal datang sejauh ini untuk pemandangan yang absolutely stunning. i already miss you Toledo and i promise, one day, i'll be back again. just for you. in a meantime, you will live in my memory.

Actually ade lagi bahagian yg ktorg x pegi. kat situ ade a few bridges yg ade sejarah die sendiri. tapi sebab ktorg pun x byk mase, hanya de dlm 4 jam je kat city, so ktorg just follow je kaki ni. and kalo nak suruh spend 1night here pun, i sanggup. sebab sini, walau bandar lama and nampak sunyi, tapi its full of historic, it os cheaper than the city. plenty of restaurant and cafe. ade halal restaurant 2-3 , 1 dekat masjid, yg lain dekat kaki bukit Toledo.

So hopefully, satu hari nanti, akan dpt jejakkan kaki ke sini lagi. nak jadikan cite, eh,, sambung lagi,, balik je saya dari Portugal, Morocco and Spain.
