Continuity from the previous post on Penang Hill. The late evening activities on the 2nd day, strolled along the famous night market at Batu Ferringi and dinner at Padang Kota Lama
Lone Pine Hotel. Nothing to do with us. Just snap the pic as an inspiration and motivation. One of my dream hotel stay. Read a good review about this hotel. Unfortunately, it was too too too expensive. Beyond my pocket limit
The same old shops along the street
New market area ala uptown style has been developed for better shopping spree. More convenient and customer friendly. From accessories to bags, shirts, drawings etc.
Both one piece of shirt from this stall. The quality is up to the standard. Stretchable and cooling. Sold at reasonable price around rm25.
Bought one sling bag here. Casual bag from the famous cat or kate ..... forgot the name.
Landmark near Padang Kota Lama.
Another landmark near Padang Kota Lama food court
The famous Hussain Pasembur.
Tastewise, so-so. we tried it since it was made famous by some of the foodie blogger. nothing special. better try from other stalls. Famous sometimes can make the taste fade away. Plus, the boiled/fried egg that they served was no longer "fit" enough to be eaten. Spoiled already. So, readers, be careful.
Plenty of choices.
Ordered Kangkung Sotong also. Best choice at that time.
This is the Pasembur. Taste so-so. Nothing to be proud of.
the Kangkung and Sotong/Squid was a good verdict. Should order more of this. Awesome.
Coconut shake. M trying to locate the famous coconut shake but could only find 1 seller here. so, i just ordered from him.
Basically, the Padang Kota Lama food court was no longer the same food court i used to visit a long long time ago. Last time, they served a superb foods despite high volume/visitors crowding the food court. Now, it is no longer the same. In future, i might just skip this place for my food hunting trip.
