The People's Museum
The Maritime Museum
(Located behind this museum is the jetty for river cruise experience)
This riverside museum's highlight is a replica of Flor De La Mar, a treasure-laden Portuguese galleon which sank off the coast of Melaka. One of the most popular museums in Melaka.
Customs Museum
The Malaysian Royal Navy Museum
Muzium Samudera is actually apart of the Maritime Museum
Medan Samudera.
Located opposite to the Maritime Museum.
This is the center of local foods, souvenirs, clothes, local craft and many more. Basically, this is the place like the Jonker Street but occupied by mostly malay community. So, for a Muslim travellers, it was a convenient to find and purchase halal food around here.
The latest opening in Melaka is the Melaka Alive Bahtera Merdeka: History in a new way.
It was opened on 11 January 2014.
The ticket fee.
Adult: RM45
Children: RM40
In brief, the Bahtera Merdeka is sort of a cinema / amphitheatre but utilise the water fountains in its showcase. This is the first fountain cinema screen built in Asia based on european and american technology. The theatre shows the history of Malacca since 400 years ago.
An article in one of the local newspaper explaining on the theatre :
The Bahtera Merdeka project will be a new 5D experience, a theatrical show with lighting, water and explosion special effects while the story of Malacca is displayed on a large water screen.
It promises visitors a unique experience in which they will journey through time from the arrival of Malacca's founding father Parames- wara in the 14th century to the invasions by the Portuguese, Dutch and British until what the state is today.

Some of the special effects include fireworks and 4D seating imported from the United States, while the audio-visual and show control system are from United Kingdom.

Stamp Museum
i discovered this. unbelievable. One of the most ancient thing in Malacca.
It's amazing right. A historic discovery. I bet, this is just a beginning. There would be more to come in the future. I am not really sure about the history, so i just google and found this article about the Santiago Bastion
Santiago Bastion?
The structure was unearthed during the construction of a commercial mall called the Dataran Pahlawan Project. The site of the Malacca Fort has always been well known to the people in Malacca who used to play there when they were children but no one would have suspected the existence of such an intact structure capable of telling us its story from the “grave”."
After, so many many years visiting Melaka, i am still thrilled and always looking forward for a new discovery. This place is never bored me.
An uncle was doing his drawing on the structure
Bastion House
Next to the A Famosa, in front of the Santiago's structure
The Malay & Islamic World Museum
This 1930s building was called Bastion House and belonged to the Dunlop rubber company.
Our famous A Famosa.
We climbed the hill via this route and step down via another route which nearer to the Dutch Square and Cendol Jam Besar
