A cendol in a hot hot day. Yeahhhh. As claimed by many websites, Cendol Jam Besar is one of the famous Cendol in Malacca Town. Besides the Jonker88 which located at the Jonker Street, Cendol Jam Besar was named after it's location which is opposite the Jam Besar (clock) at the red square.

I always love cendol. so, everything is always perfect for a cendol. This guy/seller was very generous with the ingredient. thick coconut milk, thick cendol (the green noodle), thick durian. oohhh.. sweet...sweet...sweet..
My sister opt for special cendol with ice cream. not 1 but 2 scoops. very generous with very reasonable price.

Based on my search through internet, the basic ingredients for this cendol are coconut milk, a worm-like jelly made from rice flour with green food coloring (usually derived from the pandan leaf), shaved ice and palm sugar but on Cendol jam Besar use GULA MELAKA to replace the sugar so it taste so good.
The stall is located exactly at the river bank of Malacca river and opposite the Hardrock cafe. Basically, both customers of both cafe can enjoy same scenery but with different price. Exclusivity vs Street style.
The view from the stall. I bet the authority has done a great job to maintain, clean up and refurbish all the facilities along the Malacca river. The buildings are old but it still look good and well maintained.
