Honest Tea by Chaiwalla & Co, The Curve

My wish has finally being granted. To taste the famous honest tea by Chaiwalla & Co, the container cafe. I have been eyeing this cafe every time i plan and visit JB but never been has a chance to drop by to this cafe. Chaiwalla, as written in major news paper is originally from JB. Their first and 2nd outlet are both located in JB. Far enough for a Klang Valley citizen to have our morning, afternoon and late night tea. 

The opening of their 3rd outlet at the Curve in Dec 2013 was such a bless. Immediately, over the weekend 2 weeks ago, i drove to the Curve to try it for the 1st time.

When i reached the container area, those table was fully sitted except one. There (table with red bag), the only table left. Quickly, i took a sit first before place my order.

A moment later, i straightly get to the counter and place my 1st order. why 1st? cause i got 2 drinks...hehehe.. both are tea.

Chai Latte @ RM7.80 (regular size)

Being influence by a post by Mr Faizul Ridzuan, the property guru in his FB, that this Chai Latte was really2 good. 

My verdict? Yup it is. It tastes sweet and spicey. Wondering why? later i check out with the girls there and she mentioned Chai Latte is a mix of tea and spice. ooooo... really.. but it's a good drink though. just in future i need to request for no sugar drink since i'm usually had my coffee and herbal tea without sugar.. it tastes weird when the drink tastes too sweet

My 2nd drink. Take away this Thai Milk Tea (Cold) for my mommy. My mom is s big fan of Teh Ais.

Thai Milk Tea @ RM7.80 for regular size

Tip: Need to shake the drink before enjoy it. Why? As mention by the staff, the flower (forgot the name) was floating on surface when they prepared it, so by shaking the cup it will blend the flower and the tea well. Taste better, i supposed. 

When comparing the Malaysia version Thai Milk Tea with the one i tasted in Bangkok, my vote is for the one originally from Bangkok. Bangkok version taste sweeter, and has strong flavor. it is more "Ice Milk Tea" taste a like with a sweet fragrance smell. Dont know how to describe it. Perhaps, due to my first thai milk tea experience was in Bangkok. So, Malaysia version is kinda a bit below my expectation. But it still taste good. Not a bad drink. Much much better than the options offered by that international, over commercialised coffee house.

The container cafe located outside the main building of the curve. But you could park your car and walk towards the Borders bookstore. The cafe is near to the entrance of the Curve and have IKEA / TESCO signage view.

The selection. Coffee or tea. base, flavor, topping and sweetness. I went straight to Premium Collection. I always love premium goods. hehe

Their famous brownies. But i was not in the mood to eat a brownies. So, just left the option there. Price: RM4.80

Only brownies left. no puff anymore. huhu..

That's it. My drink experience at Chaiwalla & Co. Of course, more visits to come since i have yet to taste the Vietnamese Coffee, Smoothies and many others.
